If you were fortunate enough to be outside last night around 10:30, you would have witnessed one of nature’s greatest marvels.
I have photographed the Northern Lights several time, but they have never been as spectacular and as colourful as they were last night. It’s due to a severe geomagnetic storm, on the Sun that reached Earth last night.
Normally you want to be in an area where there is little to no light pollution, but last night’s display was bright enough that I was able to capture a high-resolution image of the display over the City of Barrie.
